Lot 1416 at Willingham Auctions, Cambridge to be held on 21 June 2014 is what is described as an embroidered child's bonnet worked in colours depicting flowers, thistles, ovals - within a metal and thread borders - adapted from an embroidered panel. Unfortunately no size is given and it would be most interesting to discover, if it was for a child, why it is thought that the bonnet is adapted from a panel as opposed to a used adult item. The estimate for this article is just £50 - £100. For more details of the auction, click here.
