Now I See You - NICU - Miracle Babies

God sends a gift of Heaven to Earth when a child is born. This year will be the first year when we won't be babysitting our grandchildren. It is the first Christmas in a dozen years when our daughter will not be working a Christmas shift on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where she is a nursing sister - she will be able to enjoy Christmas Day at home with her family. The video below shows you the professional loving care she and her colleagues give each day to newborns and to their parents who at this wonderful time of their lives are wishing for just one more miracle - the survival of their baby. One of the most wonderful, comforting events the parents look forward to is to be able to dress their baby - and small clothes are often desperately needed. If you can knit small clothing then check with your local NICU to see if they are in need of any items. Click here for a link to Miracle Babies if you are in Australia to see what is needed.

  1. My sons were NICU babies 26 years ago. The staff there were the most caring, wonderful people I have ever met. Kudos to your daughter for all that she and NICU staff everywhere do to help our sick kids and keep us parents sane.

  2. I hope you and your sons have a very special Christmas this year, too! I'll pass on your kind words to Lucy and her colleagues.
