A sampler may be the only words of a woman which survive.....

I am really thrilled to hear that a new book will be available in August. The book addresses the history of New Zealand samplers - a history that is long overdue in its telling and the publishers have my gratitude for their efforts in making this book available to us. But I am jumping up and down and cheering with joy and delight here, because the author, Vivien Caughley, has brought to fruition the many years of dedicated research she has given to this special subject. She deserves so many accolades and of course the best accolade is to purchase her book, which you can do from Sherelyn at Heirlooms in New Zealand. Just click here for the Heirlooms website to find more details. Many, many congratulations, Vivien!
