Potty Elizabethans

It's a May Bank Holiday in the UK today - so guess what? We have coast to coast rain.... I have just had news from friends around the country that the events they were looking forward to have been, by and large, washouts. Though we would never admit to not having a good time here - even in the rain!
So forgive me for being a bit potty and going off piste again on this holiday. But I thought you might be interested to see a ceramic artist's take on our Tudor heritage. (Tudor is a variation of Theodore, by the way.)
And more particularly, how a ceramist interprets textiles in clay - especially lace.
Karin Hessenberg who sculpted these busts is a British ceramist and you can find out more about her work by clicking here.
In spite of the rain here, I hope you might have found some sunshine today - wherever you are!
