Free Giveaway Draw - Central Asian Embroideries

The object of desire for this week's Free Giveaway Draw is this Vintage 1978 lavishly illustrated and charted 48 page Journey Through Central Asian Embroideries from the DMC Library.

It includes a history of stitching in the Near East - with stories of how women incubated silk worms in pouches under their arms and between their breasts.

There are detailed stitch descriptions and illustrations together with a variety of charted patterns for you to try.
