The Musée des Arts Décoratifs - Mode et Textile - housed at 107, rue de Rivoli (in the side of the Louvre), Paris was opened in 1905 and now houses over 81,000 works.
Because of the fragile nature of the items, they can usually only be seen during exhibitions displayed over two levels of galleries covering 1,500 square metres. Just 3 of the 81,000 items are these fabulous stomachers. So the next time you are in Paris, make sure to drop by the galleries and see what is currently on show. For more details, click here.
