Schwalmer Weiss Stickeri - $45

Another beautifully produced book with superb images of embroidered Schwalm work. This is softback, 62 pages, with a dust jacket and is in mint condition again.

The text is in Japanese, but the instructions and diagrams are exemplars of clarity and really no words are needed to be able to follow the instructions of how to work the stitches.

It is another book that provided inspiration to Needleprint publishing and is very higly recommended for all lovers of stitching, and not just white-work. I am sorry this book is no longer available.

DMC Museum Collection - Cross Stitch Folklore $50

Priced at $95 on Amazon for a used copy of this book, I have a spare mint copy available today for just $50 and it comes airmail post free to wherever you are in the world!

This superbly produced hard back book with dust cover, displaying the most exquisite photographs of the worked charts has been one of the inspirational books behind Needleprint publishing. There are 33 pages of charted motifs for you to try yourself. Although published in Japan, this book has a bilingual Japanese/English text. I couldn't recommend a book more than this - except for a one or two others that I shall be showing you later today. I am sorry this book is no longer available.

English Samplers at the Fitzwilliam - $40

This very neat copy of the rare 1984 publication of English Samplers in the Fitzwilliam Collection continues to be a standard sampler reference book. I should say there is one sampler in the book which crept in under radar from abroad and you will have fun finding it I'm sure! There are 40 pages and the 35 illustrations are all in black and white. The price of $40 includes airmail postage to wherever you are in the world. I am sorry this book is no longer available.
