SOLD 3 Knitting Books * £12 €20 $60 Including Shipping (Australia & New Zealand $70)

In pristine condition is this delightful Japanese language book on knitted and crocheted bags. It is softback with 80 pages.
I am neither a fan of the plastic bag nor the four-figure designer bag. The nicest bags are the ones my daughters have made for me and one put together by my grandson when he was small.
Making and embellishing your own bags is fun and easy
making a bag for a present is something very special and is a treasure of the heart......
If you are mad about mittens, here are two books to keep you madly busy. The first is a pristine softback of 120 pages packed with patterns from old European folk tradition and countries beyond...
Here are just a few of the many splendid mittens
There are mittens for every occasion
and every hand - there are even some children's.
The second book is a hardback with 122 pages also in excellent condition.
These patterns are derived from Komi folk knits.
The Komi live in the north of Russia close to the Arctic Circle, west of the Ural Mountains and they are related to the Finns and Estonians.
Before she could marry a Komi girl had to weave at least 2 dozen towels, 10 yards of cloth, make 3 dozen pairs of stockings, three dozen mittens and around two dozen shirts.
The girls began their preparation when they were around 10 years old. I wonder if they preferred mittens knitted later in the sequence to their earlier attempts?
