The Micheál and Elizabeth Feller Needlework Collection at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford 13 June - 11 August 2013

We heard just recently that the early works of The Micheál and Elizabeth Feller Needlework Collection will be exhibited at the Ashmolean Museum between June and Augsut next year. We are also delighted that the Needleprint Volume I of the collection has been designated the official catalogue for this event. More details to follow and I'll be emailing all who were interested in the next day of two.

  1. How exciting! Please send details. I took a group to the museum to study embroidered caskets and raised work a couple of weeks ago - we're all participating in Thistle Threads wonderful online class. Anyway I know all of those ladies were interested in the Feller collection also :-)

  5. Very exciting. You said next year but you used 2013 in the date. Was this a typo? Thanks.

  6. Just a word of caution - you need to be aware of the date of the post - this is quite an old one you have picked up when it was anticipated the exhibition would be in 2013. The date has been shifted since to 2014. You should be able to find a more recent post with the up to date details.
