Costumes in the Museo di Palazzo Mocenigo, Venice
Sometimes when you are travelling, it is not always easy to find collections of textiles and costumes, they are not always headlined and some are quite hidden away. Though the Palazzo Mocenigo is not particularly hidden, it is not perhaps on many visitors' places to see when in Venice. The Palazzo is the Museum and Study Centre of the History of Fabrics and Costumes and has a particularly well chosen and eclectic collection. There is also a specialist library for researchers. I hope this short video will give you some idea of what can be found there - after you have enjoyed the ceiling painting!
