16th Century Brocade and Rosina Fuerst - Free Jigsaw Download

This precious 16th century floral brocade set on a silver background reminded me so much of sprigged floral designs set on a bias by Rosina Fuerst that I could hardly wait to get back home and check the pattern book again. Rosina's pattern books were published by Paul Fuerst in Nuremburg in the late 1600's, so perhaps she had taken her inspiration from earlier textiles such as this. It is easy to understand how women must have been very eager to simulate expensive fabrics more cheaply with simpler materials, using their own hands and expertise - and Rosina's helpful pattern sheets. To download the jigsaw - Click here next Click Open, then click the .EXE file name and click Run, when you see the jigsaw puzzle, click Play Too many pieces? Try clicking on Trays on the top tool bar to create any number of resizeable trays to sort your pieces ........ you can also click the Cheat button and watch the puzzle solve itself! The software is by David Gray designer of Jigsaws Galore - the powerful jigsaw player and creator for Windows.
