Those Fabulous Fardon Sisters at Eastbourne Auctions * 22 March

This pair of samplers, almost certainly stitched by Ann and Mary Fardon of Witney Gloucestershire, are Lot 312 in the upcoming sale at Eastbourne Auctions. Mary was born in 1760 and Ann was baptized in 1768, the daughters of John and Elizabeth Fardon. Their samplers here are dated 1777 and 1781.
