Jacqueline!!! Ok, NOT related to this blog post, but I am hopping up and down looking thru my Feller collection 1 book! O*M*G! I have been planning on reproducing an early embroidered jacket from the Manchester Art Gallery~ 1956.64....it is one of my alltime FAVORITES, and the gentlemans cap on page 110 is the EXACT SAME PATTERN!! Are you all aware of this? I mean EXACTLY the same! The Manchester jacket is worked entirely in black tho, while the cap has goldwork....I wonder if perhaps these were originally in the same family....one can dream that m'Ladye loved her jacket so much, she made the Love of her life a cap to match. (Cant wait for the 2nd boom to come out)
