I know there are many Jane Austen fans amongst readers (and yes, there will be a chart of Jane Austen's sampler for you in Volume II of the Micheál and Elizabeth Feller Collection). So you might be interested to know that you can see up close and intimately Mr Darcy's costume as worn by Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice on the 3rd floor of the Leeds City Museum in Millennium Square in their latest exhibition Heroes and Heroines which will run until Sunday 9 January 2011. Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 10am - 5pm, Thursday 10am-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays 11am - 5pm
In addition are costumes from many Hollywood films including those belonging to Orlando Bloom in Pirates of the Caribbean and Kate Blanchett in Elizabeth. Leeds Museum is a wonderful place to chill and take coffee during shopping trips to the city.

Now I'm very jealous that I won't be making a trip across to England that soon! What a great exhibit I'll bet that is. And I must be on the lookout for this new book when it comes out. I'm one of those long time lovers of all things Jane.
