I have had some lovely emails today, thank you very much for all your kind thoughts. Some of you were asking for a bit more clarification about the Infinity Charts, whether you needed special software to work with them, and what the process for downloading them was. So here we go. The example above is a European Volume II Infinity Chart. It comes with 2 files. There is a PDF which you can read and print out straight away with Adobe Acrobat. (Most machines have this software as standard, if you do not have the software, you can download it for free.) In addition to the PDF, there is an editable JGG file. This file cannot be opened directly, you need to have Jane Greenoff's Cross Stitch Designer Software to open the file. But you can purchase this software from Needleprint - The Infinity Starter Kit - for $20 It comes together with an editable version of the Beatrix Potter Sampler and Mary Wigham Sampler, so you have something to work with straight away. The JGG files allow you to recolour and change motifs, add initials etc and do lots, lots more. In fact, Needleprint has a blog devoted to telling you how to get the best out of this software and there is always help and support at hand.
Once you have purchased an Infinity Chart, we aim to give you the link for your download in 24 hours. The link needs someone here to activate it as it is a secured link. Sometimes we can get the link to you within 5 minutes. It just depends where in the world you are and when you order - sometimes we are in bed here when you make your purchase....I know, what are we like, going to bed? - Heavens to Murgatroyd!
So, it is just a case of waiting for the email with the link and everything you need to do is clearly set out for you. Sometimes the link likes to hide in a Spam folder, so look there as well as your In Box. On a very few occasions, the link doesn't get through at all because of particular filters your system may have. The key is that if you haven't had your link within 24 hours to email and then we switch to another procedure for your download. If you are a bit unsure what to do or have any questions, I am always here to help you. I really do want you to be able to enjoy your purchase as soon as possible and for you to have the best possible value in terms of chart, stitching experience and support. You can read more about Infinty Charts in this download.
