Steve Rousseau's Cushion Cover Finished

Steve's flying fingers have just finished his cushion cover. This project is an astonishing tour de force - Steve designed it from scratch using the Needleprint Old European Libraries and then set himself to the stitching of it. This is a magnificent item - a truly astonishing heirloom piece - époustouflante Steve!

  1. This is a wonderful piece. I would have this behind museum glass not as a cushion cover!!

  2. This is stunning. I'd be very interested to know about the materials Steve used. It looks as if there are some overdyed threads? And Kelly is right--too beautiful for something that will be squashed or shed upon by the cat.

  7. Congratulations to Steve. I think it is to beautiful to use as a cushion to set on or is it a cushion as in a pillow. Isn't there a different in the American vs. European meaning of cushion I seem to remember?
Anyway it is truely a work of beauty.
